Biden Pardons Thousands for Federal Marijuana Possession
President Biden has pardoned more than 6,500 people who were convicted for Federal marijuana possession including those in the District of Columbia. He said the current system of convicting people for simple possession or use of cannabis “makes no sense” anymore since so many states have legalized medical and recreational marijuana. Biden says the penalties for being convicted can last a lifetime and affect a person’s employment, education and social benefits.

Thailand to Give Away One Million Cannabis Plants!
The Government of Thailand has announced that it will give away one million cannabis plants after marijuana legalization takes effect on June 9, 2022. Medical cannabis was approved in Thailand in 2018.
To take advantage of the emerging cannabis industry in Asia, Thailand will allow citizens to grow plants in their own homes. A new study found that US border states that legalized marijuana witnessed a huge drop in violent crime. The study: Is Legal Pot Crippling Mexican Drug Trafficking Organizations? The Effect of Medical Marijuana Laws on US Crime. found that:
